  • Are non-social animals accepted at Anidays?
They are! Private care is the best option if you choose the Home care service. It will give you peace of mind as I commit to take care of your animal(s) only during the care. For the Visits and walks service, I will make sure he stays away from other animals during the walks. However, we don't accept animals that are aggressive to humans or present any unusual behavior.
  • Are you a professional petsitter or is it your side job?
Petsitter is my full time job. I am a professional which means I'm insured, I hold the ACACED knowledge certificate, have an authorization to practive delivered by the department and declare my income every month.
  • My animal no longer uses some accessories or food. Can I give these to you?
Of course! As of 2023, Anidays is a drop-off point for donations to animal charity organizations. In 2023, I donated them to Les Amis de Sam and the Society for the Protection of Animals (SPA) in Aix-en-Provence, France.
  • What is the ACACED knowledge certificate?
The acronym stands for Attestation de Connaissances pour les Animaux de Compagnie d'Espèces Domestiques in French. It's a mandatory knowledge certificate to work with animals. It has to be renewed every 10 years. Many subjects are covered: health, nutrition, genetics, reproduction, selection, behavior, legal framework, accommodation, transportation.
  • Can we meet before the care?
Of course! The pre-visit is mandatory, to make sure your animal.s, you and me get along, and you and your animal or me can familiarize with the place of the care (depending on the service you choose).
  • Does a day reprensent 24 hours in the calculation of your prices for day care and home care?
At Anidays, one day starts at sunrise and ends at sunset for two reasons: 1. Calculating the prices for a day of 24 hours for all my clients would be too complicated. 2. The limit of animals is 3 at the same time. So, no matter when you drop off your animal, it will count as one seat.
  • What if my plans are cancelled and I no longer need you to look after my animal?
No worries, cancellation conditions exist and are all displayed in the contract. To give you an example, if you cancel more than two months before the beginning of the care, I will give you a full refund. If you cancel less than a month and more than 15 days before the beginning of the care, I will retaining 30% of the amount of the care, and so on.
  • Are your prices negociable?
Prices are non negociable. Think about it: would you negociate prices when booking a flight or at a restaurant? However, I offer discounts depending on the duration of the care.
  • How can I pay the care?
You can pay the full amount of the care in advance by wire transfer, Paylib or by cash.
  • Why do you need a guarantee?
For every service, I ask my clients to provide me with a 150€ guarantee that i will not cash unless it's necessary. It will be used for covering damages that may be caused by the animal, for paying the potential veterinary costs, or for the potential food or accessory purchases needed to make sure the care runs smoothly.
  • How can we book a care?
To book a care, I will first need to know your needs and your animal's to make sure I can take care of him. Thus we can exchange on the phone, by text, by email...whatever means of communication you're most comfortable with.
  • Why do I need to sign a contract?
The contract ensures protection for both parties, you and me. You will only need to sign it once a year, no matter how often you use my services.
  • What if I live abroad and can't meet you with my animal before the care?
In this case, I can make an exception, but we will need to exchange on video with your animal so we all can meet before the care.
  • How can I make sure you are a good petsitter?
You can browse the reviews from my former and current clients using the links below. If you still aren't convinced, I can give you references of clients that agree to talk to you about their experience using my services. In any case, we will meet before the care to make sure you and your animals feel safe with me.
  • Will my animal be surrounded by other animals during the care?
It will depend on the service you choose. During visits, he won't. On walks, we can meet other dogs. During day care, he will probably have at least one friend, and a maximum of two. During day and night care, he can have friends who come at day care, but will be alone during the night (there are exceptions).
  • What will my animal do during day care and day and night care?
You will find the details on the Home care page.
  • What will you do when visiting my animal?
You will find the details on the Visits and walks page.
  • Who is responsible if an accident occurs with my animal?
When you ask a petsitter to take care of your animal, the responsibility is transferred. Thus, the petsitter is responsible for your animal. However, some circumstances of an accident can alter this rule. One of them is if your dog (on the leash) and I cross the road on a crosswalk, and a car runs into him, the owner of the car is responsible.
