The story of Anidays
Born from a buried passion
I always dreamed of having a job that I am passionate about and I did everything to achieve it.
And as I do things wholeheartedly, I decided to live off not one, but two of my passions: modern languages (especially English) and animals, for an even more fascinating work! At least, I was sure I would have fun!
But that wasn't always the case.
Before finally finding the job of my dreams, I followed a classic path. I studied in business school and worked for 3 years as a communications manager.
I worked in 2 different companies and tryed to start my own business (without knowing in which field) with several projects on the side.
I ended up understanding that I wans't happy with my professional lfe.
So I resigned, took a skills assessment and
realized that animals were one of the areas I was the most interested in.
I then remembered that when I was younger, I wanted to be a veterinarian or an animal keeper in a zoo. I immediately put aside the first profession, as long studies are necessary and after almost fainting while attending a surgery during my ninth grade internship. My research into the second profession also showed me that it was not the way to go at that time. At the same time, I became a volunteer, then a few months later a replacement at the Aix-en-Provence SPA, where I realized that animal welfare was essential for me. Finally, by discovering the list of animal professions, I found that of petsitter.
In the blink of an eye, I registered on a famous platform for connecting pawrents and petsitters, to try. My first mission was for an American couple and lasted 3 weeks, while they returned home for the holidays. I loved conversing with them in English and looking after their two dogs, Romeo and Francesco. For the anecdote, they forgot their bowl of water before leaving for good in America, which I kept as a souvenir from the start of my new professional life.
After this care, I knew that I wanted to do this job, in particular to help expatriates or tourists take care of their animals while they discovered the country, returned home or worked.

To make sure parents and animals are reassured enough to stay apart for a few hours to a few weeks, I wanted to offer services with strong values.

Honesty is the core principle of good relations: we meet before the care, you have access to my clients' reviews, I send news and photos/videos as much as you want, and you are informed of any changes in your animal's behavior.
Your experience with Anidays is also personalized as I adapt to your needs and your animal's: I speak 3 languages (French, English, and a bit of Spanish), you can choose between many petsitting services, I will ask you about 30 questions concerning your animal's habits and needs, I apply everything you tell me to stick to your animals habits as much as possible, I am flexible on drop-off and pick up time and date, I give you advices on how to improve your animal's life...)

Your animal's well-being is my top priority!
In order for him to feel comfortable with me, I approach him with love and kindness (with a soft voice, gentle movements...), put calming classical music on or offer him silence depending on his needs, share special moments during game time or cuddle time...
They also have access to mastication treats, logical thinking games and more to make sure all their needs as animals are met.
